Beginning with a need to create a mild soap to treat her own skin complications, Brooklyn native Marsha L. Lewis started making products in her kitchen, that are gentler to her skin than the soaps she was accustomed to using. Eczema became a problem for her that grew increasingly worse, until she began using her special batch of Mango Oatmeal soap, which is absent lye, animal by-products and other harsh chemicals that dry out the skin. Pleased with the way the soap transformed hers and her son’s skin (who also suffers from eczema), she went on to create more varieties of the same safe-skin formula, moving on to make soaps as gifts for colleagues, in 2009. She progressed from soap to other skin care products, (body butters, body oils, scrubs and soaks) mixing essential oils and natural moisturizers to create homemade unique tonics that add moisture. Marsha Lewis has seven years of experience, creating organic products. Designed to fulfill the needs of a diversity of skin types.
