TUPAC PUTS OUT A SCREENPLAY

In March, Insomnia Media Group will begin production on the film “Live 2 Tell,” a newly-acquired script written in 1995 by the late Tupac Shakur.
The story tells of a young black man who becomes a drug kingpin, then decides to turn his life around by leaving the game behind him. The late rapper’s mother, Afeni Shakur, sold the movie rights to “Insomnia,” which has among its other projects an upcoming biopic of Napster creator Shawn Fanning, and the tattoo-parlor reality TV show "Inked."
The star of such films as "Poetic Justice," "Above the Rim" and "Gridlock'd," Tupac had written "Live 2 Tell" as a starring vehicle for himself. A year after penning the screenplay, the rapper was gunned down on the Las Vegas Strip. His murder remains unsolved.
